Bliss Hospitality and Bliss Kids originated as an idea by Carolyne D'Mello after the birth of her first child, Maya in 2002. Seeing a gap in the market for gifts, fun and pampering for the pregnant and new Mums, she decided to research the idea of providing a one stop shop for baby gift boxes, making it easy for friends and family to choose gifts without the hassle of not knowing just what to get!

Well, the idea exploded! Her friends told her she threw the BEST baby showers and the food was great, and "Why don't you host baby showers for other people?" they asked. "Why not, indeed!" she thought.

Being a mum, Carolyne knew the importance of the right quality products. She wanted to ensure that the gifts people gave, would be the gifts people actually used. While exploring the possibilities, Carolyne discovered a range of fabulous gifts for girls and guys too, and included them as a part of the 'thisisbliss' range, because everyone deserves a little bit of "heaven," she thought, "even if only for the length of time it takes to languish in a delicious bath… and eat chocolate!"

So there you have it… thisisbliss.com.au was born in 2004.
